How to make Big Colleges feel small

Around the country, most of the big colleges like ASU, Ohio State, Florida State with over 40000 students on a single campus feel amazingly huge. You see so many people walking around that you see for the first time and probably won't ever see again. You are surrounded by so many people who just seem to walk around like busy, going somewhere or chatting in groups. You then tell yourself why is this place so big, I feel like a no one. To bridge the gap, you try to be friends with everyone you can come across, you try to join every club possible. But even after that, you still think the school campus is still super huge. So the questions comes up, how to make your school community appear small. Whatever you try to do, there is always a time that you feel that there are so much more people around that you have never seen. You could just ignore the fact and walk with your group of friends and forget the rest or you can try your best to be Mr. Popular. There are various was to become Mr. popular in school. You could be the star quarterback on the team or the running back. You could be the Basketball team star point guard or President of the Student Government, but for the normal student, the key of becoming this easily lays on the school kiosks system, where about 80% of the cool stuff in school are advertised. Well now you can't start walking to each kiosks trying to write down everything going down in school, but now there is a website that can easily allow you to do that, AnnounceSchool. This is a website that allows students to post up pretty much everything and more that you will post up on a kiosk and even more. So when other students post up a party or an event club event or sport event, all you need to do is to open up your computer and check the website in your school section and check what is going on. As simple as that. With that you will be able to attend much more events and thereby meet much more people. This website thereby a simple way of making huge campuses feel small. What is the use of kiosks in the School community

For most of us in college or those who are in High school and we know those large Noticeboards in the school corridor full of notices. Every time we take a peek at them we see so many things displayed on them such as looking for a tutor or paid surveys as well as common school news like join a certain club. At times it gets dizzy to peak at all the ads posted on their altogether as most of the times it appears as a mess.
Walking around campus, you will easily realize that most of these kiosks filled up with all these ads are never looked at, especially by the college kids. They just walk pass it, before you see someone looking at it, you must be on a lucky date. Even those who take a peek at the ads always take a glance of probably 5 seconds not giving the time to look at the ads on the kiosks.
This just gives the impression that kiosks are easily becoming useless to the school students for posting up events, ads, services or things for sale. Those who post up their ads waste money to post it and those ads never get looked at and are soon torn down or someone directly post something over your ad.
Recently, an ASU student created a website called AnnounceSchool, to attempt to solve this problem. Noticing that most of the things that were in school were being missed out due to the fact that people never read these ads, he created the website to allow students to post their ads instead on the website for free to make much more people to look at it without the need to walk around. The website is very easy to use and it really helps. People ads are read more and are not torn down. Students can post up their services, books for sale, housing, events, club activities, parties and much more for the other students to see. The website is really a great tool for students and looks like a major student accessory for the forthcoming academic year.

Will AnnounceSchool lead to the end of Posters and flyers in Schools

According to killerstartups, AnnounceSchool.com http://announceschool.com can be termed a platform where every activity of note that is set to happen within any school can be posted and announced to the world at large. These announcements can deal with events such as contests, and they can also include ads that publicize the services that people have to offer in the school’s community.

AnnounceSchool is a website that was created 2 weeks ago by an ASU freshman, Michael Nana who thought of an effective way of getting to know when and where events and activities where going on as well as help people who post it post it to a greater audience at no price.

That is clearly advantageous to the people who post the ad - the actual posting will have a greater exposition span, and the user can post the ad itself for free. If you think about the cost that printing a lot of flyers and posters implies then the value this has is all the more palpable.

All in all, this website makes it easy for people to discover everything that is happening in school without ever getting near the school kiosks at all. Well, people rarely do that nowadays. Ads and notices that are posted at kiosks are rarely read, and it doesn’t take long for somebody to take them down. Announce School aims to address such a situation and let people know about what is going on, and it might just have what it takes for leading to a bigger turnout for activities at any school.

Founder Michael Nana, believes AnnounceSchool is a very worthy alternative for all students to use instead of creating posters and flyers which 80% of students never read.

This is a very necessary tool for students as it is very easy to navigate and very easy to search for the specific thing you are looking for. Currently used in the 5 major universities in Arizona, AnnounceSchool is a great tool which all students from these schools should start using.

The College Community Marketplace

AnnounceSchool, which we earlier talked about for creating the first online community for announcement in school, has added a Marketplace to their website to allow the students from the schools on AnnounceSchool to sell their stuffs or buy stuffs.

The Founder Michael Nana aims to help students to be able to creating the total community interaction to get most things on campus across very quickly which included selling your items on campus.

AnnounceSchool

Welcome to the website AnnounceSchool, a free service website where each student can post any type of event, contest or meetings coming up to make participation as high as ever and to make the school community aware of what is going on. You will be able to post up services you also have to offer as well as mark the event calendar to make sure no one misses the date.

Everyone else will be able to read the post and thus know every single event going on in school, as well as all the meetings or the services other students have to offer.

We created the website to bring the school community together and to make sure students make the fullest of the student life without missing out on events which they would have enjoyed to attend. We realized that sometimes it got hard for people to know about what was going down in school and with this website everything becomes much easier.

The website is very easy to use as you can post any type of event for free or place it on the calendar. You can sign up for an account to manage your ads and delete the ones that have passed. You can also place the services you have to offer.

We hope you make the fullest of the utilities we have to offer and have a blast in school.
